Smooth as cream!
This lens prevents me from getting a consumer zoom because they leave so much to be desired in image quality. Love this beauty.

DOES NOT WORK WITH THE D40
I have a D40 and got this lens…unfortunately the lack of autofocus is a real handicap…there were so many shots i just could not get cause manual focus was so finicky.

Bought mine from BHPhoto 2 weeks ago and it has performed well so far on my D80. It was a tight fit when I first mounted it, I wasn’t sure it had locked in, but it works fine so…

Sweet lens. Doesn’t work well with d40 but rocks on d90
Doesn’t autofocus on d40 or d40x but all other cameras for nikon it works with. A must have in ur bag if you are a serious photographer. I don’t go anywhere without it.

Great value for the price
This lens is definitely a great value. Some distortion in my exposures, and the auto adjust is quite loud!
