Excellent setup
I am very happy with this kit. Finally a kit that has a lens with decent range. I upgraded from a D50 and have not looked back.

Nikon finally lost the plot
I am amazed that this camera is gaining such good reviews here. The build and manufacturing quality are the shoddiest I have ever seen from Nikon.

Worth it!
Beautiful camera that takes beautiful pictures. sturdy body, impressive shutter speed, and nikon lenses are the best–definitely a sound investment.

JUST AWFUL! Sent back to Nikon for repairs and came came with same problems.
We had the Nikon D50, were looking to upgrade, and purchased the Nikon D90 with lens for Christmas, 2008. For the first 4 months we were very happy with this camera.
