This combination of camera and lens is very, very good. Having had a few Nikon film SLR’s and lenses, I can appreciate the quality of this set.

Can’t go wrong with Nikon!
This camera is currently one of the best mid range DSLRs out there. It has everything that an advanced amateur requires.

JUST AWFUL! Sent back to Nikon for repairs and came came with same problems.
We had the Nikon D50, were looking to upgrade, and purchased the Nikon D90 with lens for Christmas, 2008. For the first 4 months we were very happy with this camera.

Worth it!
Beautiful camera that takes beautiful pictures. sturdy body, impressive shutter speed, and nikon lenses are the best–definitely a sound investment.
