I think that this is a pretty good battery, but it does need to be charged several times to hold the charge for any length of time.

Great Price!
Great Price for product. Was not aware that NP-FG1 has now overtaken the NP-BG1. Allows for timing of battery life to be shown. Great added feature.

You need this battery for your Cybershot
You definitely need to order an extra battery when you order your Sony Cybershot camera and this one is better than the one that comes with the camera.

Always have a backup
I purchased this as a second battery for my Sony camera. I try to stay with name brand and therefore didn’t go for the cheaper knock-offs.

Good
